I’d Be Prolific – If I Could Only Focus

Writing erotica has proven to me that I am unable to focus on single topics. Looking in my Draft folder shows that I have over one hundred stories in some state of completion. I’ll get an idea that seems to take over my mind, and until I take pen to paper, the thought continues to mill around in my mind like the Geko talking about saving fifteen percent on car insurance.

I’ve been writing a series entitled House Party, which is now up to four novels with no end in sight. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m trying not to get into a rut and write stories with different themes. The Foxy and Larry storyline of over twenty novels deal with topics that have come straight from our swinger lifestyle in real life.

As an author of erotica, I don’t have to sit down at my keyboard and try to imagine what a bunch of perverts would do. I only have to think back to the last house party or convention we attended for ideas.

If you’ve ever wondered what “those people” do behind closed doors, you’re probably right. We are sick and disgusting, but it’s a lot of fun! “Straights,” as we call them, are those on the outside looking in at us.

The Understudy by Lisabet Sarai

This morning, I will turn over the keyboard to my good friend and fellow author of erotica, Lisabet Sarai. Lisabet is what I classify as a traditional author of erotic stories. She’s been a published author for many years of well-written erotic romance, a cross-over between erotica and romance stories.

She also dabbles in pure smut, which I love the best of all!

Lisabeth and I co-wrote a story, Crashing the Swinger’s Pajama Party, based upon an event that happened at one of our swinger’s New Year’s Eve parties. Many of my stories revolve around a strip club, The Fox’s Den, in Las Vegas.

Using her interpretation of the characters in my stories, Lisabet wrote the best-selling series, Vegas Babes. I was honored when Lisabet asked if I would mind her writing some stories based upon characters that I had developed in mine. This was Fan Fiction at its best, and it was a hoot to read how someone else pictured characters who I’ve lived with the twenty-plus stories in the Foxy and Larry series.

House Party 4 by Larry Archer is Off and Running

The third day out of the blocks and House Party 4’s rating is between #25 – #38 in the Best Sellers Rank of its erotic categories! Yesterday it was ~68K in the Kindle Store, and today it’s at 25K. Twenty-five thousand may not sound that great, but in erotica, that is a superb ranking.

HP4 is another in the House Party saga by Larry Archer. The entire series to date (HP, HP2, HP3, & HP4) is a total of 272,000 words or 65% the size of Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

I can guarantee you that flogging your weiner to House Party is more satisfying than Gone With The Wind.

HP started as a single book, but there was no way to contain all of the fucking and sucking in a single book. HP has laid waste to every pretty woman around, and while I hate to use the term rape and pillage, there is not a lot of pillaging going on.
