The chances for rain in Las Vegas are down to 5% today and the sun is bright and shining at 7:30 A.M. The temperature is already 80 degrees F and headed to a predicted 103F today. Of course, it was just a few days ago that it was already 96F at 6:00 A.M. Later this week, we are expected to hit 113 deg F. Its sort of like sticking your head into the oven.
We get microbursts of rain, where it pours like hell for 10-15 minutes then is all over. But in a few minutes, everyone’s patio furniture gets blown into the next county, with 60 MPH winds. Within a couple of minutes, streets go from dry to knee deep in water, then 30 minutes later are dry again.
House Party [Foxy and Larry #18], my current work in progress (WIP) is proceeding well and includes a number of twists, which are not normally found in my stories.
