In a plot similar to their 1969 movie namesake, two couples Bob & Carol and Ted & Alice decide to open up their marriage and share some of their most intimate fantasies.
My original idea for this story came after I watched the original Bob & Carol and Ted & Alice on Amazon Prime. I have to admit that my story deviates a lot from the original R-rated movie. Aside from the bad hairdos and bell bottoms, it was pretty funny to see two more or less straight couples attempt to swap wives for the first time.
In my version of the story, you can follow along as the two wives decide to swap husbands for an innocent date to spice up their marriage. Still, things rapidly spiral out of control when they realize that Carol is a multiple personalities Sybil, who is up for anything and anyone.
Carol and Alice meet at the gym and find an instant attraction for each other. Carol is frankly a prude and the product of being raised by conservative parents, who instilled in her a seriously fucked up attitude towards sex.
Her husband Bob has gone a long way in straightening her out, but she still is unable to accept the fact that sex is not the dirty nasty thing her mother told her it was. Finally, something snaps in Carol, and we see the appearance of Sybil, who is her alternate personality. Sybil, who is the exact opposite of Carol and takes over control of Carol as the two couples decide to swap husbands for the weekend.
In a tribute to the actual character Sybil, Carol becomes a blooming flower, except in her case, it is a blooming slut, who is trying to make up for lost time. If you’ve never heard of Sybil and her 16 personalities, check out this link.
This is Larry Archer, at his best, weaving a scorching hot explicit tale of consensual bareback sex between two couples that leaves no detail out as everything is on the table for these throwbacks to the swinging era of the ’70s.

Gee, I hope Lisabet is OK.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a post by you that she hasn’t commented on within the first 24 hrs 😉

She’s alive, she posted on another website for writers of erotica that I’m a member of.
Hey Mark – Are you on my mailing list?
You can join here, if you’re interested:
I’m sure she’s fine. You have to keep in mind that she’s on the other side of the world and there is usually a 24-hour delay or more for her to respond on to a comment. I let you know if it turns out otherwise.
Gee guys! Thanks for your concern!
I’ve been really busy in the real world. Work interferes with the fun of being Lisabet… But I’m fine.
This sounds like a hilarious and sexy story, Larry. Is it actually set in the seventies? That would be a trip.

Sorry Lisabet, as usual, I didn’t answer your question but got off track. My version is nothing like the original beyond the name. Mine starts innocently enough with two women complaining that their husbands never paid any attention to them (where have we heard this before?). So they decide that they will go out with the other woman’s husband. This way the man might pay some attention to them. It was a good idea but like most of my stories, runs off the rails pretty quickly.
I found the video on Netflix (I think) and it was pretty funny. Of course with COVID these days, we’re all starting to look like Hippies!
Went back and did some research. Hard to believe but that movie is 50 years old! Here is a Roger Ebert review: https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/bob-and-carol-and-ted-and-alice-1969
You see movies about swingers and they are all twenty-somethings with perfect bodies. In the real world, the “perfect bodies” are maybe 5-10% with the rest 30-60-year-olds and bodies like a typical cross-section of people.
