I managed to pull my paperback copy of BULL Riding MILFs out of the hands of my mail person and was lucky to discover only a few of the pages were stuck together with an unknown substance!

This morning as I sit in front of my dual 32-inch monitors with the background set to a full length of Foxy buck naked except with a thong and thigh-high socks, I’m trying to decide if I should jack off or do something more productive. The image is almost life-size with the two monitors equaling about 64 inches in width, including the 6-inch space in between.  The space is necessary so I can look at my wife when she graces me with her presence. At almost 6 feet, Foxy is a tall drink of water and every day I thank my blind luck for meeting someone so far above my paygrade.

Another thing I’m excited about is the results of my change in cover design for paperbacks. Initially, I used the electronic cover as a starting point for the paperback version of the book. The results were okay but didn’t really blow my socks off.

When you design a paperback cover image it must be a single image consisting of the back plus spine plus front. This image must be the exact size which can be a struggle if you don’t have the proper tools to create it. Luckily, in a past life, I did ad layouts for a not-for-profit and was introduced to Corel Draw. Corel is a commercial product that’s been around since the 80’s and gives you the ability to create artwork that meets a high level of tolerance. I use Corel Draw for cover design and other layouts where I need to tightly control the output. Somewhat like Foxy when she dons her Mistress outfit and beats her subs.

My latest paperback, BULL Riding MILFs, is now available for your reading pleasure and solves the problem of what to do with your other hand when you’re reading erotic stories from Larry Archer.

I continue to be amazed at the sales of my paperback versions of my swinger and Hotwife erotic stories. The percentage of Amazon sales has ranged up to forty percent upon release of a new paperback but averages out at around twenty percent of total Amazon sales. For years I resisted publishing paperbacks as I didn’t think the market was there for adult-oriented smut books but boy have I been proven wrong.

My impetus for paperbacks is my lovely Luddite spouse, who struggles with anything more complicated than her vibrator. She refuses to read anything on an electronic device beyond a text message or dirty picture from one of her girlfriends.

One early morning, she awakens me making notes on a pad. This is someone whose world does not exist before nine AM and only barely at that time. I said, “WTF?” Foxy told me about a dream she had and insisted that I write an erotic story about her latest fantasy. In My Dreams was the result and after writing it, I published it in paperback form for her to read.

That was when I decided to give this paperback thing a try and fired up QuarkXPress to generate the input files for a hard copy of Larry Archer’s smut. Fast forward a few months and I’ve published eighteen of my stories in paperback including one 650-page box set that can also be used as a doorstop.

QuarkXPress is another one of my trips to the dark side as I experience the pain and anguish of desktop publishing. I imagine that this is what one of Foxy’s subs experiences when she grinds a spike heel into their ball sack or lays a cat-of-nine across their behind. While the experience was somewhat like sticking your finger in a light socket, now that I’m approaching twenty paperbacks I’ve got to the point I can start with a finished story and grind out a version for Amazon, SmashWords, and a paperback copy to boot in less than a day.

I’ve taken self-publishing to heart and generate everything. Nothing is outsourced and good or bad it’s all on my shoulders. As an engineer by training, I’m anal and publishing presses all of my OCD hot spots. Coupling that with our travels in the house keys in a bowl crowd has been a good mix.

I’m Larry Archer, and I write erotic stories for the huddled and yearning masses. Foxy and I are swingers in real life, and I write about the things we do and see. While the Lifestyle is not for everyone, it’s been fun for us. My smut is explicit and hardcore but with a somewhat plot.
