My latest erotic Hotwife romance is scheduled for release next Friday, 2/17/23, and preorders are open at Amazon and SmashWords. The paperback version is awaiting final approval, and I’ll have ordering info on it in the next couple of days.
The image above is the cover of the paperback. The back + spine + front cover is generated as one large image. The white block on the back is for the ISBN information and is filled out by the printer.
The electronic cover is shown below, and personally, I was waiting for it to be thrown in the dungeon but apparently has skated by the censors. It doesn’t show any naughty bits but was close. I like both covers but am really excited to order the paperback for my own use. I’ll try to keep from getting all the pages stuck together.
When I get the ASIN number from Amazon, I’ll do a proper release notice in a day or two.

Larry, I don’t know about your books.
Amazon changed the format of any book published after January 3, 2023. It’s now a KFX format instead of an AZW format.
To use any of the programs that let you rip off the DRM, so Calibre can convert it to another format, you have to use an older version of Kindle for PC (1.17 or earlier).
Well, those versions won’t download anything printed after the 3rd of January.
The only workaround is if one has an old kindle and you can download to it, and then get it to your PC.
So I don’t know if your books had DRM since I would have ripped it off as SOP.
I checked and the last book of yours I got from Amazon was Company Benefits and it was AZW not MOBI format. I would have thought that if it didn’t have DRM, it would be MOBI when I downloaded it, as some books are.
BTW, me converting format for my own convivence is no different than making a cassette recording of an album, back in the day (yeah, I’m that old). As long as I don’t resell it, I’m not breaking any law.

I think the newer versions are AZW but that file format is not necessarily DRM’d. When I publish I have a check box if I want to add DRM to the file and I don’t check it. When I download a copy to check it now comes down as an HTML file which is a pain to use and display IMHO. I’ve done so many books that I don’t worry anymore about the file format being correct and will typically scan the epub version I download from SmashWords. With paperback books, I submit PDF versions and those are easy to check and Amazon has a special program to check PDFs. I’ve got a paperback copy ordered of Bull Riding MILFs but it takes about 3 weeks for me to receive it.

For years, Amazon is the one we worried about as they would reject a cover as being too explicit and SmashWords would let virtually anything go. But, now that SmashWords has been acquired by Draft2Digital, they’ve suddenly become more tightass. I’ve had to redo the cover for SmashWords and they still haven’t approved the story for distribution but the new cover should be okay.
Now the paperback cover is different on all my new paperbacks. I use a different image in most cases as I’m now using an image that is landscape and covers the back + spine + front cover. I think they look a lot better than the image that just covers the front.
The story is the same, just the covers are sometimes different.
