As someone who writes erotic romance stories, I’ve been curious about the possibility of having an AI Bot write dirty stories for me. The thought of just having one of my HP Workstations slaving away generating fuck and suck stories. The only thing I would have to do is carry the checks to the bank. Possibly, I’ll wallpaper my bathroom with hundred-dollar bills or burn them in the fireplace for heat and piss off the utility companies.

But unfortunately, reality is a cruel, vindictive bitch, and while AI is showing great promise, I think it has a way to go before solving all of the world’s problems.

I’ve been giving Magic Bookifier a turn in the barrel, and it shows a lot of promise. I was pretty surprised at how good the response was. I’m posting the 4,000-word story it created below without any editing beyond changing fonts and removing carriage returns between paragraphs.

The Premise:

I’m writing a story about the girls going on a clothes-optional lesbian cruise for two weeks in the Bahamas. If you don’t follow the Foxy and Larry storyline, here are the players:

Foxy & Larry are two swingers who live in Las Vegas. Larry owns and operates the hottest strip club in Vegas, The Fox’s Den. Foxy is a six-foot slender ex-model with curly brunette hair like an 80’s porn star. Larry is also a six-footer from Texas with the body of a broad-shouldered farm boy.

Sherry is a tall, blond, mid-twenties, full-breasted television news reporter at Channel Twelve. She and Larry are in a poly relationship, which began in the House Party series. Sherry deeply loves Larry and has a somewhat stable relationship with Larry’s wife, Foxy, as they both love the same guy.

Wet Dream is the call sign of Sherry’s news chopper pilot. Wet is an ex-military who flew Cobra Gunships for the 160th Night Stalkers, a clandestine military group working for the CIA and NSA. Wet is a tall slim woman late twenties with close-cropped brunette hair and somewhat of a butch or military appearance. She and Sherry are currently fuck buddies on the side.

Heather is the new chick on the block. A six-foot-two younger version of Larry’s wife who works as a dancer at the Den. Foxy met Heather when she showed up with Larry during the male lead test shoot of a porn movie at the studio Foxy and Larry own (The Shrink).

The Storyline So Far:

I write as a “pantster” or someone who creates by the seat of their pants. The actual story is only a few chapters so far but revolves around Foxy seeing an ad on a swinger’s website for a girl’s only clothes optional cruise through the Bahamas. Chrissy has just gotten certified to fly Larry’s new business jet and will fly them to Florida, where they will embark on a sea cruise with hundreds of lesbian and bisexual women. Sherry’s helicopter pilot will help with the flying as she’s been a gunship pilot herself.

Magic Bookifier at Work

To test the AI generation of a story, I used their Writing Coach to generate a 4,000-word multichapter story with little effort. It is a question-and-answer process. You enter a synopsis of the storyline along with any text. Once you point it in that direction, the AI engine will analyze what you’ve entered and ask questions about the story, the characters, and the plot information.

The AI engine will create a chapter, ask you several new questions about the story, and generate a new chapter. For my first trial, it created an eight-chapter, 4,000-word tale that you can read below. It was surprising to read the psychological analysis it performed using my answers to the questions posed by the program.

I was pleasantly surprised at the output of the Magic Bookifier. It made a couple of hiccups in understanding the relationship between swingers but got most of it correct. The program clearly can take a minimal amount of input and generate a coherent output.

Remember that this was a test case, and I answered the questions off the top of my head without putting a lot of thought into them. I will try their new Longform Book Writer, which will generate up to 50,000 words. Now that I know how it works, I think I’ll be better at using it.

Nits and Comments

• It did generate NSFW adult language, which pleasantly surprised me. The terms and conditions state no “indecent, vulgar or obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive” like most publishers but don’t define what “pornographic” actually means. Amazon, SmashWords, D2D, and Apple have the same restrictions but will publish erotic material. It would be nice if there were a switch to turn on/off erotic content and the level of porn generated. Having limits that align with what is generally acceptable in the publishing business would be nice.
• It generates a text file (.TXT) with no formatting and a blank line between paragraphs. I just opened the downloaded file in Word and saved it as a .DOCX file, then applied my standard formatting.
• Magic Bookifier doesn’t allow you to review or change your responses to the questions asked during a book generation. It would be nice to download the questions and answers, at least so you could go back and review the question and how you responded. The next time I do this, I’ll capture the questions and answers so I can check them. I’m not sure if anyone would want to be able to change their responses and regenerate the output, but that might be handy.
• I’ve written and published almost sixty books, and it would be awesome to feed the Bookifier with my previous stories so that it generates output in the same tone and word usage as mine.
