We used to live in the Midwest, and during the winter, getting my minimally dressed wife to a house party was often a challenge on cold, snowy nights. Last night, the temperature dropped to 33 degrees Fahrenheit in Las Vegas, and while it wasn’t freezing, the short trip from the sidewalk to Pat and Nina’s front door prompted my wife to express herself with a colorful array of four-letter words.

While swinging and women’s rights might seem like an unusual combination, you may be surprised to learn that women control the action at house parties. My wife is a devoted feminist and a latecomer to the women’s liberation movement. If she owned a bra, she would certainly be the first in line to burn it.

As I always say my wife is one of the Fuck You and the Horse You Rode In On types of people who take no crap from anyone. Woe be any man that tries to compare her to the little woman hiding behind daddy’s coattails. As a six-foot goddess, she rules the room.

A non-biased review on swinging by Edward Fernandes, Are Swingers Freaky and Deviant? is a good read and will give the straight person a glimpse into our life of nonstop orgies and other shameful behavior.

I’m struggling to finish my next story, but as usual, I have come up with another idea and am adding it to my cue of draft stories I’m working on. I need to get something out the door, but typing “The End” is almost impossible for me.

House Party ended up as a 4-book series of 280,000 words total. It really needs a fifth book to tie the loose ends together. The Shrink probably should have been entitled House Party 5, but I didn’t feel like it would have closed the series properly.

Before House Party, I had kept the fictional versions of Foxy and Larry pretty close to the actual real versions, and they wouldn’t do anything the real Foxy and Larry would do. At the house party, I let Foxy off her leash and gave her free rein to play. I was surprised at some of my reader’s comments about her behavior and being a bigger slut than usual but keep in mind that this is not Foxy, and she’d never leave Larry. House Party Foxy is Foxy on steroids and not the Foxy we all know and love. It has been a real hoot to let her run wild and get into all kinds of mischief, but this has all been from my imagination. Keep in mind that our real selves are a solid couple like all of the swinger couples we know.

I’m considering writing House Party 5 but realize that it will be out of sequence, as several books overlap the storyline. However, things like that haven’t stopped me before.
