Back in the midwest our house was at the end of a u-shaped street with woods to the back. Our neighbors on either side couldn’t see into the pool area except when someone went down the slide. The that got me was the number of people I knew who, upon finding out that I had a pool, not only wanted to come over to swim… but to do it naked. Or they’d get in the pool wearing a suit and it would mysteriously go missing. And more women than men liked to skinny dip, which surprised me.
When I didn’t have a pool, none of these people would even think about being naked around me…

Many, many years ago (in a universe far away…) my DH and I belonged to an organization advocating open marriage. They weren’t exactly swingers (though it might have been hard to tell the difference).
