Check Out My Interview

melissa-mccarthy-sean-spicer-snlI was recently interviewed about my musings as a writer of erotica along with our Lifestyle. If you have been reduced to reading the labels on the soup cans in your pantry, give it a try: http://deloresswallows.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/author-interview-larry-archer.html

Doing the interview was interesting in a number of ways. As a writer, you have to typically come up with a “bio” about yourself, which is somewhat like the interview except someone else is asking the questions. I tend to think of my writings in a certain fashion except when someone else is asking the questions, they often come out of left field.

I find it difficult to talk about myself as that always seems like bragging, but give it a read once you’ve finished checking to see if your mother-in-law still is not on the side of the milk carton.

About LarryArcher

Larry Archer's the name, smut's my game. I am a writer of erotic literature that's generally always HEA (Happily Ever After), which typically involves no regrets sex. I write in a humorous style with a plot and suitable for reading with one hand. My stories are full of sexual situations that are often taken straight from our swinger lifestyle in Las Vegas. If you want to enjoy erotica, where every page is dripping with action, give me a try.

When I wrote my first book, the publisher reminded me that I had to include a bio… and I found that harder to write than writing the book was.

I agree kDaddy, also for me it’s hard to talk about yourself and blow your own horn!

When I read the part about how some stories just take off on their own, I nodded in understanding; I might think about writing a short story and the word count goes off the scale! Do you often find it’s easier to start a story than it is to being it to an end?

It seems impossible for me to end a story. My current story in post-production “Stripper or Nurse” is over 77,000 words and if I wanted to keep on going, I can visualize another 25K words but I might save that for the sequel. A typical porn story is 10-20K, while mine is typically 30-50K or longer. We all sell for the same price usually $2.99 to get the best margin, so from a reader’s point of view, you are getting 2-3x the story for the same price when you buy one of mine. But as I don’t really write with profit in mind, I work my characters a lot harder.

You’ve always struck me as an articulate person with a gift of gab, so you should give it a try and put some of your musings on paper.

I wanted to say “I know that guy!”
I don’t read much smut (I guess I prefer living it 😜) but I really enjoyed your book!
    And the interview… 😄
